Queens kid Bryant Dope has put new single, “QB” up on SoundCloud off his upcoming mixtape New New York. The mixtape is comin' at ya via Young One from producer Hannibal King, who's previously worked with Mac Miller, Odd Future's Domo Genesis and newly outed homophobe Joey Bada$$.
“QB” is a contemplative, Illmatic-styled ode to Dope's hood. With verses meditating on violence on the streets, deli sandwiches and his own lyrical prowess, it's that type of observational street poetry you've been looking for ever since Mr. Jones told you all about what a bitch life is.
